Busy Weekend

Since it was Memorial Day Weekend we had lots of places to go. Saturday we were at a friend party in the afternoon and then on to Ryan's parents in the evening. Sunday we went to my parents for their annual Race Day party. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Puppy Play

Friends of ours had a party Saturday. They have an 8-week old lab puppy. Madeleine was not sure about her at first, but by the end of the day was in love. They hung out all afternoon. Madeleine would grab the puppy by the neck and pull her into her lap. It was really cute.

8-Mile Baby

For some reason this picture really reminds me of the movie 8-Mile. I guess it is the hoodie.

Alice in Wonderland

For some reason these pictures remind me of Alice in Wonderland. Anyone else? Thanks Uncle Randy, Aunt Melanie, Alan and Claire for the great gift.

Holy Teeth Batman

Madeleine now is the proud owner of 10 (yes 10!) teeth. Teeth #1-8 came in between 4 and 6 months. She has recently added two more to her collection in the form of her 1-year molars. Only 3 months early, but what the heck. Still no crawling yet, but we sure have teeth. This is not the best picture of either of them but it is the only one I have of most of her teeth.

Last Saturday we took our first trip to the Zoo and Botanical Gardens with Madeleine. She was not all that excited. She slept through all the plains animals and most of the Gardens. However, she did see all the fish, dolphins, and sharks which she was very excited about. We cannot wait to go back. I just had to add the meerkat at elephant pics. The meerkat one is hilarious and I thought the elephant one was really cute.

My Friends Matt and Sam

At the beginning of April we went to our friends Eric and Jenny's for a visit. They live about an hour and a half west of Chicago outside of Rockford. Sam was 3 in October and Matt will be 1 the end of May. Of course Matt and Madeleine could care less about each other, but Sam and Madeleine fell in love. As you can see by their pictures!
