Piano Play

Here is another video for your viewing enjoyment. Since about 5 months we have been letting Madeleine play on www.kneebouncers.com. It is a website designed for babies and toddlers. Basically, they can hit any key on the keyboard and it makes something happen on the screen.

Madeleine favorite by far is the piano feature. Of course the site has its drawbacks too. As soon as Madeleine sees the computer keyboard she freaks out and wants to play with it. This makes for a bad scenario considering our computer is in her playroom.

A Girl and her Puppy

Just a quick video of Madeleine playing with Helix a few weeks ago. They are so cute together. Sorry about the ending of the video. I thought I had stopped recording, but I guess not. :)

State Fair

Saturday we all went to the State Fair. Ryan was not sure at first because he is not big on farm animals - i.e. horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, etc. Of course, we went in the gate that leads right into the horse barns. Once we were out of that area he was fine though.

I think Madeleine is going to follow in his footsteps though - she was scared to death of the goats and cried when one stuck its head out at her. She LOVED the elephant though and would have went right up to it if it was not for the fence I think.

Yes, we stripped her down to her diaper. We did not have a change of clothes for her and it was a little cool to go around in wet clothes all evening.

Movie Night

This past Friday the Church down the road from our house was playing The Wizard of Oz outside on the big screen. We, along with the neighbors, took Madeleine and their daughter to the movie. They pretty much ignored the whole thing and played, but it was still fun. Madeleine fell asleep on my lap about 2/3 of the way through the movie.

Yummy Cake!

Since Madeleine was a tired at her party (and not really sure of all the people looking at her) we saved her smash cake and gave it to her on her actual birthday. She REALLY enjoyed it.

I stayed home from work with Madeleine on the day of her birthday. We went with the neighbor and her little girl to a local water park. Here are some pictures from the day.
