Picture Overload

It has been a year since the last time we went to the Children's Museum. At that time Madeleine was not walking or crawling so she was mostly in the stroller. This time was a total 180. She was running around most of the time and hardly in her stroller at all.

Seeing the carousal for the first time
Riding the carousal. She even rode one of the horses that go up and down.
Playing in the water table
Try out the Hula Hoop with all the big girls
Climbing up to the slide
How she decided to go down the slide. Everytime.
Digging for pipes
Building
Playing in the sand. I think she put more on the floor than through the toys.
Playing house. After 30 seconds after this picture was taken she made the little boy cry.

Snow Days

Tuesday while Madeliene and I were home we decided to go out in the snow for a few minutes. It was bitter cold out so 15 minutes to get her bundled up, 5 minutes outside and 10 minutes to get her out of all her clothes.

We have had a fun week at the Hamilton Household. We are glad it is over and hope that this week proves to be better. Monday I had to pick Madeleine up at 1:30 from daycare due to possible pink eye. Off to the pedi and a 1.5hr wait until she came in. Also, I should mention Madeleine naps from 1:00ish-2:30 so this was not a happy time and the doctors. Five minutes after the pedi walked in she walked out and I had in my hand a prescription for eye drops.

Now, it is hard to put eye drops in a normal adult person that understands what is going on. Try putting them in an 18 month old 3x a day for 7 days. Fun times I tell ya. I pretty much had to lay her down on the couch, lay over top of her and pry her eyes open with one hand while trying to keep her head still. The other had was busy keeping her hands away from her eyes while I put the drops in. Not to mention the crying and screaming.

I stayed home with her Tuesday since she had to have antibiotics (the eye drops) for 24hrs before she could go back to daycare.

I had an interview on Wednesday for a job I will turn down if I actually get an offer.

Finally back to work on Thursday. By this time Madeleine's pink eye had somehow morphed into a cold and she was up several times in the night coughing. Saturday, my eyes start itching and getting red so I start putting some of Madeleine's drops into my eyes. by Saturday night I had her cold and I stayed up half the night coughing. At least I had Madeleine for company.

Now we are back to Monday. Madeleine and I still have our colds - and were up most of the night last night coughing, but all pink eye is gone.

Here are some pics of our sad little girl. Your reward for getting through this long post.
Monday after our visit to the Pedi

Just Because

Some random pics I like just because!

Just Playing

Along with her tricycle and Elmo Live! these are Madeleine's favorite things she received for Christmas. I love how she just lays on her stomache and plays with her doll houses.

She loves to push her car up against the couch and climb through the window onto the couch and then back into the car the same way. Since these pictures were taken she has master stepping into the "trunk" of the car to get on the couch. Fun times!

Christmas Fun

Here are some random shots from all our Christmas activities. Madeleine had a blast.
