Madeleine finally decided about 1.5 weeks ago that she wanted to start sitting up on her own. She was sitting in the corner of the couch and decided to sit up on her own instead of leaning in the corner per her usual. She is pretty good on her own now as long as there is not something to the left or right that she wants. She tends to tumble then.
Madeleine decided, on her 6-month birthday no less, that she now really has an interest in her toes. Anytime she is sitting up she lunges for her toes. She has not yet figured out how to get her socks off. We have decided that is good since it is hard enough to keep them on her feet anyway.
